Alana Brown is a New York native who has lived in Orange County for eight years.  After graduating SUNY Geneseo, she taught Special Education to 4th-6th grade students and pursued a master’s degree.  Following the move to California, she relished her time raising her four children.  In 2017, Mrs. Brown returned to education as a substitute teacher in the Westminster School District where she earned her GATE certification.  Most recently, she was employed as the Intervention Teacher at Schroeder Elementary.  Alana and her family are members of and volunteers at Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos.  Family time, reading, hiking, and sharing memes with her teenagers make life more delightful for her.
