I was born in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia. My family came to America in 1975 when I was one years old. I grew up in Long Beach.
I graduated from Cal State University of Long Beach in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Math Education. I began my teaching career at Brethren Christian Jr/Sr high and was there for 13 years. The subjects I have taught included 6th & 7th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Statistics. Along with teaching I also was the Yearbook advisor.
I’ve been married to my husband, George, for 26 years. We have four daughters and a two year old doggy named Kopi. We live in Long Beach and attend Soundhouse Church. As a family we enjoy road trips and have driven through all 50 states. (We did have to fly to Hawaii first, but we did drive all the way to Alaska).
I enjoy photography and graphic design. I like editing pictures and creating graphics on Photoshop and Lightroom.
My Favorite Scripture is Philippians 4: 6-7
